Norwegian Environment Agency

  • Country: Norway
  • Year: 2013
  • Client: Norwegian Environment Agency

The Norwegian Environment Agency’s primary tasks is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, manage Norwegian nature and prevent pollution. They play a key role in shaping Norwegian environmental policy.

Late 2013, the agency and I prepared together a meeting for governmental institutions responsible for regulating biofuels. The location of the workshop was Oslo, Norway. My responsibilities included organisational tasks prior to the meeting, collaborating with involved countries on the workshop agenda, setting up a dedicated website with all relevant information and with a registration form, coordinating the communications with the delegates, identifying and inviting international expert speakers / stakeholders, and supporting the conduction + documentation of the workshop. I also held responsibility for the visual design of the event and for assisting with a field trip activity (bioenergy plant).
